THE 12TH EDITION of the Ramadan Forum has opened at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will be there until July 23.
The forum features a line-up of educational activities, training workshops and lectures that discuss key religious and social issues.
The agenda comprises multilingual lectures, including eight lectures in Arabic, presented by a number of scholars and preachers, including Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Mesfer, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Musleh and Sheikh Dr. Omar Abdul Kafi.
In addition, there will also be four lectures in English presented by Dr Zaker Naik; in Tagalog presented by the scholar Rashid Indaan; in Malayalam presented by Sheikh Hussain Salafi; and in Urdu presented by Sheikh Tauseef Ar- Rahman.
The agenda will also include visits to local hospitals by the attending scholars and preachers in addition to a daily Iftar organised in labour accommodation in Muhaisnah 2, whose capacity has been increased to feed 4,000 fasting individuals this year.
A Charity Caravan will tour the city to help raise awareness of the event and to distribute informational leaflets and brochures within public and private organisations, malls, modes of public transport and other public places.
Attendees will also be able to participate in daily electronic raffles offering prizes such as Umrah, smart phones and iPads.
