Many commercials and ad campaigns are informational in nature. Because the English language is very complex, your copy must be very clear in order to get the point across. For example, take the sentence "When Bob saw his brother the other day he told him that he was happy about how it all turned out." It is unclear if Bob was speaking or his brother. It is much better to say something like "Bob's brother told him how happy he was about how everything turned out when they saw each other a few days ago." Copy is important to convey a message, but can only be effective if it is clearly written.
